About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall finishing and related construction skills. This role involves preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to deliver high-quality results on various projects.

Duties

•

Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets according to specifications.

•

Apply joint tape and compound to seams, corners, and screw holes for a seamless finish.

•

Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes.

•

Perform caulking tasks to seal gaps and ensure a polished look.

•

Collaborate with team members on project timelines and requirements.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.

•

Assist in flooring installation, tile laying, masonry work, trim carpentry, and airless paint spraying as needed.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or in a similar role within the restoration industry.

•

Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

•

Strong skills in caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, trim carpentry, maintenance person tasks, and airless paint spraying are highly desirable.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.

•

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with drywall finishing.
