Position Summary
This position works under the supervision of the Drug Testing Manager and is responsible for conducting drug and alcohol collections in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. The role provides support to staff by performing collections, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with administrative duties to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the testing process.
- Conduct drug and alcohol collections utilizing approved testing methodologies (urine, oral fluid, breath alcohol, etc.).
- Properly handle, secure, and dispose of specimens in accordance with chain-of-custody requirements.
- Maintain accountability and accurate identification of all specimens collected.
- Accurately document results and testing procedures in company records and client systems.
- Communicate regularly with staff, clients, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Compile and track testing statistics for reporting to clients, management, and federal entities.
- Provide administrative support as needed to ensure compliance and efficiency of testing services.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Training: Must successfully complete company-provided training on drug and alcohol screening methodologies.
- Experience (Preferred):
- Previous experience working with clients in substance abuse or healthcare settings.
- Prior training in drug or substance abuse testing.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Must have a clean DMV record.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
