Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

•

Operate various types of trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight.

•

Drive along designated routes to deliver goods to customers while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

•

Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

•

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

•

Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

•

Have to speak Spanish

Skills

•

Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).

•

Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment.

•

Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and freight handling procedures.

•

Experience with load unloading practices specific to various types of trucks.

•

Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving.

•

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

•

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
