We are looking for a Divisional Reporting Accountant for our Sunrise, FL or Columbia, MD office!
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong interest in sustainability to join our Kingspan Americas divisional finance team. The Kingspan Americas team composed individual businesses across Canada, the US, Mexico and South America. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing financial data, managing Group reporting requirements in line with IFRS and aiding and assisting all divisional companies in adhering to the Group’s internal control framework.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast performance, and assess risk.
•Integrate sustainability metrics into financial analysis to promote environmentally sound and socially responsible investments.
•Manage the deployment of new Group policies, reporting requirements and systems across the Kingspan Americas Businesses.
•Enhance the efficiency of reporting within the individual businesses by developing and sharing best practices across the individual finance teams.
•Producing and interpreting monthly financial performance reports and ensure appropriate financial controls are in place
•Assist the businesses in preparation of financial data to support capital expenditure request and manage approval process at a divisional level
•Assist in the monitoring and remediation of open internal audit findings from the businesses
•Travel to other locations is required
Qualifications:
•Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, CMA or other recognized body)
•One to three plus years of relevant experience, Financing experience preferred
•Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Proficiency in financial software and Excel skills.
•Strong communicator of financial information to non-financial managers.
•Ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving ability, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
•Excellent analytical skills to interpret and adapt known methods, system procedures or operating concepts to new situations, and ability to identify and resolve related issues.
•Work independently and in a team environment
•Spanish/Portuguese an advantage
Computer Skills:
•Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook. Excel knowledge must include the ability to use VLookups and Pivot Table functionality at a minimum
