Job Brief

The Distribution Requirements Planner (DRP) is responsible for the day to day resupply planning for specific WO regions and, within those region(s). You will be the primary driver of the Inventory Management System aimed at optimizing inventory carrying.

This is a temporary role expected to last from May 27th 2025 - October 2025

This position will work in office 5 days a week during the initial training period

What You’ll Do

The Distribution Requirements Planner is responsible for the day to day resupply planning for specific Wholly Owned regions and, within those region(s). You will be the primary driver of the Inventory Management System aimed at optimizing inventory carrying. Other duties will include:

•

Help design, develop, and implement business processes, and initiatives that significantly improve customer experience and build value chain flexibility to support profitable business growth.

•

Drive customer satisfaction through consistent IS/PE delivery execution, ensuring a cross-functional approach that engages each business unit within the DNA (Dyno Nobel Americas) Value Chain

•

Ensure continuity of supply by employing best practice resupply methodology within distribution and the WO businesses in order to deliver agreed service levels and ensure lowest cost to serve.

•

Co-ordinate transportation of externally procured materials managing the timely flow of product to site.

•

Work with Inventory Planner & Distribution Requirements Planner to standardize resupply planning across DNA and work within SOPs for inventory management, ordering and forecasting.

•

Understand and maximize SAP capability for resupply planning including improving data integrity and implementing functionality to improve product flow through the network.

•

Complete transportation documentation as required, including bills of lading, customs documentation and bookings with carriers in compliance with all government regulations.

•

Guide Wholly Owned Businesses on inventory management strategies to ensure optimal inventory for service level requirements utilizing the inventory management report provided by Senior Inventory Analyst

•

Reduce legacy Past Shelf Life & At Risk inventory across the WO businesses while ensuring additional product does not move into these categories.

What We’re Looking For:

•

Supply Chain / Logistics experience helpful, but not required.

•

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

•

Upbeat and proactive attitude

•

Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups throughout the business via phone, email, etc.

•

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

•

Proficient in MS Office, including intermediate Microsoft Excel user.

•
