About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality to join our team. The Director of Quality will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within the company. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading initiatives to continuously improve quality processes and outcomes. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems and procedures. Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with requirements, codes, standards and project specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor quality performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to personnel on quality control procedures and best practices. Maintain detailed records of quality control activities and documentation. Lead initiatives to continuously improve quality processes and outcomes. Ensure compliance with specific nuclear quality standards, including ISO 19443, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and IAEA guidelines. Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to nuclear technology and construction. Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, program development and/or implementation, preferably in the nuclear or power generation industry. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, codes, and standards. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
