Role: Director of Marketing Technology (AI Systems & Integrations)
The Director of Marketing Technology is a systems architect, strategist, and builder — the person who creates the digital infrastructure that powers HydroTech’s growth. You understand marketing and operations at a deep level, and you know how to layer AI-driven automation, analytics, and integrations into an industrial service business without disrupting the precision and reliability the industry demands.
You’ll work directly with executive leadership to design, implement, and optimize the entire ecosystem that drives HydroTech’s digital presence, marketing operations, internal data flows, and automated workflows. You’re not just improving processes — you’re engineering the backbone that accelerates the company forward.
- Architect a unified marketing technology ecosystem integrating CRM, analytics, content workflows, paid media systems, and internal job costing/reporting tools.
- Lead HydroTech’s AI strategy, selecting, implementing, and governing tools for automation, data processing, content creation, and predictive analytics.
- Build and maintain API-level connections between platforms (HubSpot, QuickBooks, internal databases, scheduling systems, field reporting tools).
- Design advanced dashboards that tie marketing, operations, and financial data into one clear view of company performance.
- Oversee the development of AI-driven processes for lead scoring, targeting, customer segmentation, proposal generation, and reporting.
- Set standards and governance around AI usage across the organization — accuracy, compliance, privacy, and safety.
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to create repeatable, automated content pipelines powered by AI + human editing.- Evaluate emerging technologies and determine which tools should be piloted, scaled, or rejected.
- Build internal training, documentation, and playbooks so the entire company benefits from new capabilities.

- Lead AI implementation across multiple departments — marketing, admin, operations, HR.
- Develop automation that reduces manual workload and increases precision.
- Build frameworks for long-term scalability of digital systems.
- Integrate reporting tools that turn raw operational data into actionable insights.
- Standardize data models and ensure cross-department alignment.
- Create internal documentation, SOPs, and governance for all AI-infused systems.
- Partner with leadership to ensure all technology supports company strategy and field execution.
- Oversee vendors, contractors, and technical partners.
- A fully integrated digital ecosystem with minimal manual work and maximum clarity.

- Hands-on experience implementing AI tools, API integrations, and multi-platform workflows.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), analytics platforms, and automation frameworks.
- Ability to design and document complex systems that are scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
- Excellent communication skills — translating technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Experience managing cross-functional implementations in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical ability and a bias toward measurable, data-backed decisions.
- Leadership experience — confident guiding teams, training users, and setting standards.Industrial or B2B service industry experience is a strong plus but not required.
$80,000 – $100,000 base salary + performance bonus tied to system efficiency gains and measurable impact.
