The Director of Finance is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support. This individual will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate across departments to drive financial performance, ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements, and support strategic initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage operational budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Provide executive management with clear insights into drivers of business performance, risks, and opportunities.

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.

Drive cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.

Manage financial modeling and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Oversee capital planning, investment analysis, and ROI assessments.

Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including financial due diligence and integration.

Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of corporate financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and financial modeling tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred:

Experience in a Fortune 500 or similarly scaled organization.

Industry knowledge in construction industry.

Experience in service or rental businesses.

Track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
