Summary/Objective

This role reports to the Marketing Director and will primarily support the management of our digital assets (photos, videos, marketing materials, project files) and provide administrative assistance. If you’re highly organized, tech-driven, and enjoy balancing creative and operational tasks, we want to hear from you!



Essential Functions

Organize, catalog, and maintain digital assets including project photos, videos, and marketing materials
Ensure proper tagging, metadata entry, and storage practices for easy retrieval
Regularly audit the digital asset library to identify and remove outdated, redundant, or unused assets
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in digital asset management
Coordinate professional photos of in progress and completed projects and professional headshots
Document processes and guidelines related to digital asset management
Assist with basic photo editing, resizing, and file formatting as needed
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, Library Science, or Computer Science
Proven experience (3-4 years) in digital asset management, library administration, or similar role
Demonstrated experience working with and organizing files created in a DAMS, Canto preferably
Strong understanding of digital asset management principles and best practices
Experience with organizing and labeling various digital file types, including images, videos, documents, and presentations
Familiarity with metadata standards and controlled vocabularies
Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
2+ years experience with Photoshop

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.



Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, this position may occasionally require the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds of paper, files, and/or equipment. This position requires the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time to enter data into multiple systems and conduct face-to-face meetings or interviews.



Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time non-union position. The scheduled hours are approximately 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options. Hours may be extended as required to execute the tasks assigned.



Travel


Travel is not required for this position.



Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, Library Science, or Computer Science; three to four years of proven experience in digital asset management, library administration, or similar role; and at least two years of experience with Photoshop.



Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must pass a pre-employment screen, including but not limited to a drug and alcohol screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check and physical (if applicable).

Current and valid driver’s license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jaynes automobile insurance carrier in order to drive a Jaynes vehicle).

Must be eligible per Fleet Safety Management policy to operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for company purposes.
