Detail Supervisor

Job Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the detail department.

Essential Duties

- Ensure CNC machines are being utilized and operating at optimal efficiency.

- Mark off nests in EPM.

- Verify programs against drawings.

- Ensure quality of parts being cut and shipped.

- Manage logistics of inbound and outbound detail transfers.

- Manage the detail cutting schedule.

- Ensure safety of operations and practices at all times.

- Coach, mentor, develop and train team members.

Experience and Education Requirements

- Minimum of a 2-year degree in programming or work experience

- 5-7 years minimum supervisory experience in warehouse/parts environment

- Previous Experience with EPM and Sigma Nest or comparable software

- 3-5 years’ experience minimum of CNC Machine programming and troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to constantly work in various indoor conditions including hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions.

- Must be able to lift a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.

- Must be able to carry a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.

- Frequent standing, walking, reaching forward, balancing, feeling, object handling, simple hand grasping, firm hand grasping, and operating controls will be required.

- Regular sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, stooping, and crouching will be required.

- Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.

- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
