Designer - Electric Distribution

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Designer to contribute to electric distribution system design projects that power communities. In this role, you will utilize design software to perform basic design engineering tasks, supporting both underground and overhead electrical distribution projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting, managing, and maintaining permits as required by project needs. Your role will include managing workload and projects, as well as assisting in the production of plans, specifications, reports, diagrams, and engineering documents from the preliminary scope to construction status. Travel is up to 20% of the time for field visits, project data collection, and construction coordination and verification.

Required Qualifications

- Experience with electric distribution design performing drafting and/or CAD design tasks

- Advanced experience with AutoCAD, O-Cal and SpidaCalc

- Experience utilizing GIS mapping software

- Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

- Technical degree or other advanced education, training or certifications related to engineering design projects

Benefits & Salary

- This position pays between $46,800 - $68.000 and is an exempt position.

- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

- Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

- May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
