Job Summary:
As an Electrical Designer with Trihydro Corporation, your primary responsibility will be to support the electrical aspects of various engineering projects. You will be involved in the design, development, and construction support of electrical systems and components to ensure their safety, efficiency and reliability. Your role will also require you to collaborate with other designers, engineers, and professionals to integrate electrical solutions into broader project frameworks.
- Design, develop, and specify electrical systems and components.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Apply current industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the mining, remediation, petrochemical, or similar industry.- Proficiency in designing and developing low voltage (<600V) electrical systems and components.
- Lighting design and specification.
- Experience with AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of industry standards (NEC, NFPA, UL, and energy codes), regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, public utilities, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $70,000- $90,000
This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
