Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse tasks and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently loaded, transported, and delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable with heavy lifting and operating various warehouse equipment.

Duties

- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually as required.

- Safely operate a box truck for route driving to deliver goods to designated locations.

- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.

- Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring that all items are stored properly.

- Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions to any issues that may arise during the delivery process.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency in operations.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.

- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.

- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is desirable.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 58 per week
