Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Metal Supermarkets Etobicoke is looking for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant. This is a full time job from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with the possibility of extra hours and overtime.

Duties include delivering and picking up material and helping out in the warehouse. Forklift experience would be an asset but training will be provided. Compensation package includes base pay plus full benefits and profit sharing after three months. Apply in person or online.

Additional duties may include

- Setting up and operating cutting machines (shear, saw, Ironworker)

- Properly loading and unloading material from cutting beds, shelves and trucks with appropriate material handling equipment (may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.)

- Preparing product for delivery or customer pickup, including checking and completing all necessary paperwork

- Assist co-workers with various duties involving physical handling of product, materials and equipment as well as paperwork and customer service where needed

Job Requirements

- G class licence and a minimum of 5 years driving experience

- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment

- Comfortable working in a fast paced, small business environment

- A motivated team player

- Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and understand inches and fractions

- Previous factory/warehouse and forklift experience would be an asset

All uniform items are provided including work boots (after probationary period) and safety equipment.
