Delivery Driver

Driver/Delivery Person (Surrey, BC)

Compensation: $26.69 + OT

Position: Full Time (40hrs)

We are a well-established structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator located in Surrey, British Columbia. We provide our customers with high quality components for various projects in Canada and the United States, including British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii.

Our business has consistently grown year over year because of the high standards our team holds themselves accountable to. Due to this continued growth, we are currently accepting resumes for a Local Driver/Delivery Person. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive wages, benefits package, employee savings program and other incentives.

- Class 5 Drivers License

- Capable of lifting 50lbs

- Experience loading and securing loads on a flat deck

- Ability to operate a forklift

- Comfortable driving a variety of small flat deck vehicles

- Reliable, committed, willingness to learn

- Excellent communication skills

- Good driving record

- Capable of working in a very fast paced environment

- Willing to work overtime when required

- Load and deliver material to various sites using 5 ton, 3 ton, ½ ton and/or company vehicle

- Pick up material from various suppliers using 5 ton, 3 ton, ½ ton and/or company vehicle

- Must be respectful and professional at all times

- Focus and commitment to safe driving and work practices.

- When on job sites, employees will be required to wear steel toe boots, safety vest/glasses and hard hat. These will be supplied for you.

- If there are no deliveries or pickups scheduled, employee may be asked to help out in other areas of operation throughout the facility.
