Scope of Position

Cr eate innovative models to assist executives’ decision-making under growing renewable energy market complexities . D evelop energy optimization software algorithms and mathematical models used to support various internal teams .

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education/Experience –

Engineering , Mathematics, Physics, Economics or related degree required ; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred. Typically required 7 years of d emonstrated experience in renewable energy and/or energy storage e xperience r equired . A background in Operations Research ( o ptimization) is also preferred . Specialization in applied mathematics or operations research (linear and non-linear optimization, dynamic programming, tree search, and heuristics search algorithms), preferably with experience in the field of renewable energy production or energy storage and experience working with programming languages . Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related degree.

Working Conditions

95 % of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment. 5 % of the time is spent outside of the office attending various conferences and meetings .
