We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Processing Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating information in our systems and databases. Job Responsibilities: Within the limits of established policies, procedures and budgets, assumes responsibility and has commensurate authority as delegated for the following functions:
· Accurately input data from various sources into company databases and systems.
· Verify and cross-check data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Assist in data cleanup and validation tasks.
· Generate basic reports from data as needed.
· Collaborate with other departments to collect and verify necessary data, helping ensure accuracy and consistency across functions.
· Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
· Support regular audits of data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing information, and help correct them.
· Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry and management tasks to improve consistency and training for future team members.
· Build and update spreadsheets to track projects, inventory, sales, or other internal data as needed.
· Review submitted forms, surveys, or online entries for formatting or input errors.
· Participate in short-term internal projects that involve data collection or administrative coordination.
· Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
· High school or vocational school graduate or have satisfactorily completed the General Education Development (GED), with emphasis and proficiency in the subject areas of science, mechanics, and mathematics.
· Basic understanding of data privacy and security protocols.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong typing and data entry skills (speed and accuracy).
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Must be physically able to function in the position.
· Must have strength in walking, sitting, and standing.
· Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
· Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
· Must be able to reach and handle items.
