Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer based in Houston, TX, with some flexibility to work from home. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines. Daily tasks include performing data modeling, implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and managing data warehousing solutions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data analytics initiatives, ensuring data is structured and accessible for business insights and decision-making.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling

- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Data Warehousing

- Knowledge of Data Analytics and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred

- Excellent ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid work environment

- Familiarity with the energy sector or related industries is a plus
