Dairy Farm Worker

The Dairy Farm Worker supports daily dairy operations by performing hands-on tasks related to cow care, milking, feeding, cleaning, and facility maintenance. This role is essential to ensuring animal well-being, high production standards, and smooth day-to-day workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Feed and monitor livestock; report any health concerns immediately

- Clean stalls, barns, and equipment to maintain a safe and sanitary environment

- Move, sort, and handle cattle using low-stress techniques

- Assist with bedding, scraping lanes, and maintaining cow comfort

- Perform basic equipment checks and notify supervisor of repairs needed

- Support other farm tasks as assigned to meet operational needs

- Follow all safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity protocols

Requirements:

- Prior dairy or livestock experience preferred, but not required

- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical labor

- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

- Comfortable working around large animals

- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for long periods
