How You’ll Make An Impact
- Conduct in-depth cybersecurity research and penetration testing
- Analyze product security controls and recommend improvements
- Develop and implement solutions to address vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with R&D to embed security into the development lifecycle
- Track and report on security metrics and compliance
- Lead internal awareness and training programs on cybersecurity
- Stay current with global cybersecurity trends, tools, and regulations
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or product security - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, or C++- Familiarity with tools like MetaDefender, Metasploit, and Burp Suite
- Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, exploits, and secure development practices
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
