Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer support calls, data entry, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multitasking, customer-focused, and able to maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle inbound calls, asking questions to identify sales and service opportunities

- Address customer issues and respond to inquiries regarding pricing, billing, products, grievances, and new account setup

- Provide solutions with professionalism and a customer-first attitude

- Maintain a solid understanding of all Marsh LP Gas products and services

- Comprehend and adhere to policies and procedures related to safety, product delivery, and services

- Provide timely, accurate updates on customer order status

- Lead outbound calling efforts to follow up with past-due customers

- Enter and update customer account information using the CARGAS system

- Process customer billing payments

- Ensure accurate processing of drivers daily paperwork

Qualifications:

- Education: Degree or equivalent experience required

- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, Propane or Oil & Gas industry, and CARGAS systems preferred, but not required

- Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell in a competitive environment

Skills:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry

- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills

- Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and enthusiastically

- Flexibility to work overtime as needed, especially during peak seasons
