Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our field service teams, as well as support other departments in their projects. This position requires strong time management skills, proficiency in office management, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Receive emails from customers reporting service needs for various locations, route emails to internal teams, and enter that data into company systems.
- Manage inbound phone calls directly from customers reporting service needs.
- Enter call data efficiently and accurately to create and process service requests or new jobs in our systems.
- Update customer websites and systems with job details, technician status updates, and closure information.
- Escalate urgent customer service issues to managers clearly, and promptly.
- Take calls or emails from service technicians asking for various assistance (payment processing related, job details, parts requests, schedule, etc.) and directly address their needs or effectively route to appropriate team members.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role; is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize workload effectively
- Strong proofreading abilities with attention to detail in written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with clerical duties and front desk operations is beneficial.
