Job Scope

Provides support to the Customer Service function at CE Minerals-Mulcoa

Job Summary* The position performs clerical functions to support and back up the Customer Service Representatives and the Shipping Dispatcher.

•

This position also performs a matching function with the prior day’s Invoices, Bills of Lauding and Packing Slips and updates the AX enterprise system to reflect activity.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Performs:* Routine clerical functions

•

Mail flow for the group

•

Telephone assistance with customers and others.

•

Breaks down Bills of Lauding from shipments and matches them with packing slips

•

Resolves discrepancies between BOL and packing slips

•

Updates AX enterprise with shipment status

•

Generates invoices, performs price verification and mails invoices

•

Assists traffic coordinator with out bound shipments and appointment schedules.

•

Assists Customer Service Manager with weekly KPI reports.

Skills and Attributes Requirements* Confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with problems.

Ability to complete multiple tasks and demands.

•

Average problem resolution and analytical skills.

•

Ability to follow prescribed steps in a process with little supervision

•

Average computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

•

Above average communication skills required to interact with customers.

Education/Experience Requirements* High School Diploma; college degree or technical school diploma preferred.

•

One plus years customer service experience

Environment* Physical requirements are those of a standard office

•

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with customers
