Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing all duties associated with and related to the safe, efficient and cost- effective maintenance of natural gas facilities and appurtenances as they relate to natural gas systems per 49CFR Part 192 and Piedmont Natural Gas policies and procedures.

This position performs a variety of activities associated with service installation and maintenance and unregulated activities. Specific duties include but not limited to utilization of computers and computer order / record keeping systems, working service orders associated with current required operator qualifications.

Basic/Required Qualifications:* High school diploma or GED.

Desired Qualifications:* Two year degree and or Technical Certifications

Physical Requirements:* This position contains a weight restriction of 275 pounds as an essential function of the job. The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that all weight-rated equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner within maximum allowed weight loading.

Other Requirements:* Field Mobility Classification - Work will be performed in various field locations, as needed, after the onboarding period. However, field employees are required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location.
