General Responsibilites
•Develop proposals for the delivery of advanced telecommunications services, based on requests from external customers.
•Negotiate service level agreements, monitor the service delivery and initiate action to ensure service levels are maintained. Develop and provide service pricing recommendations and ensure that service revenue targets are met. Develop and provide associated service plans.
•Maintain information on existing service offerings, projects and initiatives associated with assigned telecommunications services. Identify and sponsor service offering opportunities, reviewing technical proposals and developing business cases, as appropriate.
•Act as a general contractor in projects required for the provision of these services.
•Provide assistance to external customers by sufficiently defining their requirements and identifying the appropriate solution and present information to customers on service offerings, standards, policies, procedures and strategies, in collaboration with customer representatives. Participate in sales initiatives and campaigns promoting customer awareness of telecommunications services.
•Provide proposals and solutions directly to customers, by defining their requirements and identifying the appropriate solutions for house accounts and for internal customers. Provide information to customers on service offerings, standards, policies, procedures and strategies.
•Act upon and resolve customer complaints and suggestions pertaining to the delivery of services.
•Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in conjunction with other teams in the Company to develop, implement and deliver solutions and services for customers.
•Perform other duties as required.
Selection Criteria
•Knowledge of computer science and methodologies to perform analysis and design criteria for telecommunications and information management systems.
•Require a knowledge of engineering and computer applications of telecommunications equipment, digital computers, advanced software systems and data base management systems.
•Requires a knowledge of computer logic communications, network protocols and data structures related to diverse telecommunications systems.
•Good knowledge of English to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
•Requires experience in all aspects of telecommunications and information management, in a telecommunications carrier environment.
•Technical experience with hardware, software and telecommunications network capabilities and operational aspects of the business.
•Understanding of the components of telecommunications and information management systems.
•Extensive business experience with the application of telecommunications and information management methods to a large and diverse customer population.
•Experience in a marketing and problem solving role with users, a thorough understanding of the Company's organizational structure and the specific requirements and service demands of the various organizations.
•A period of over 8 years and up to and including 10 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
