- Maintain clean floors through sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles; collect and sort recyclable materials.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock bathrooms and restrooms.
- Service and maintain custodial equipment as required.
- Perform minor maintenance and repair work on furniture, buildings, and equipment.
- Report potential safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Lock and unlock windows, doors, and gates to secure the premises.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in outdoor and grounds areas.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior custodial and groundskeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with bending, squatting, twisting, and kneeling during tasks.
- Knowledge of custodial methods, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and work at heights.
- Familiarity with using, maintaining, and storing cleaning equipment and supplies.
