Cryofill Technician 1

Global Helium and Rare Gases is seeking a Cryofill Technician I to join our team located in North Royalton, OH.

Sign on Bonus: $1,000 (paid after 90 days)

Retention Bonus: $3,500 total ($1,500 paid after 180 days and then $2,000 paid after 365 days)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The Cryofill Service Transfiller – Global Helium and Rare Gases is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Must be professional

- Committed to personal safety and environmental accountability

- Work unsupervised and independently in safe manner

- Operate a 33,000 VGW straight truck

- Safe handling of hazardous materials (liquid & gaseous helium)

- Deliver liquid helium to customer sites and transfer into MRI units

- Maintain neat, clean, and professional personal appearance

- Listen to and resolve service inquiries and complaints/issues

- Comply with all OSHA and DOT regulations/requirements

Education and Experience Required:

- High School Diploma or equivalent is required

- CDL Class B license with Hazmat endorsement

Skills Required:

- This position requires a well-rounded individual willing to be trained and perform all duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.

- Work performed in medical/hospital setting

- Intermediate level computer skills; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)

- Technical role with troubleshooting and problem solving

- Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC experience desired

- Customer Service experience is a plus.

- Able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical (up to and including drug & alcohol test, road test)

- Willing to be flexible; work schedule includes nighttime hours and overnight stays.

- On-call 24/7

Travel Percentage:

- Up to 60%

Physical Requirements:

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50+ pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 75+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
