- Position: Crusher Operator
- Location: Battle Mountain, Nevada; no lodging available
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends
- Pay Rate: $25–$32/hour (depending on experience)
- Operates a crushing plant, preparing mine run rock as feed for beneficiation plants.
- Starts crushers, conveyors, screens, and feeders from control panels.
- Monitors machinery, adjusts material flow, and distributes crushed product via conveyors, chutes, etc.
- Performs cleanup of material leaks/spills, changes wear parts, replaces screen cloth, and maintains walkways, stairs, guards, and control rooms.
- Performs primary equipment maintenance (motors, pulleys, gearboxes, conveyor belts, elevator chains, etc.).
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Perform heavy manual cleanup using shovels, picks, hoes, and brooms.
- Lift, carry, and manipulate tools.
- Perform repetitive hand/arm functions with tools (jacks, wrenches, hoists, come-alongs).
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Occasionally work in restrictive spaces or at heights (bins, conveyor structures, buildings).
- Climb inclines/slopes with stairs or ropes.
- Work night and graveyard shifts.
- Comply with regulatory and company safety requirements.
- Perform duties safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Inspect work areas for unsafe conditions and report them immediately.
- Take corrective or interim action on unsafe practices.
- Participate in required training, exercises, and HSE development activities.
- Report all injuries, near-misses, property damage, or hazardous conditions.
