Rossco Hook Line & Sling LLC is a new division of Rossco Crane & Rigging specializing in below-the-hook lifting gear inspections, rigging sales & overhead/mobile crane inspections.
The Crane and Rigging Inspector/Technician role involves conducting inspections of below-the-hook attachments used in material lifting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, understand OSHA, ASME, and ANSI standards, and should have hands-on experience in rigging safety and inspection procedures.
•Perform inspections on overhead cranes and below-the-hook lifting devices.
•Assist with other production equipment repairs as assigned.
•Must have at least 1 year experience as a crane and rigging inspector.
•Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license, with acceptable driving record.
•Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
•CDL license is preferred.
•Successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing.
•Responsible for completing daily work order logs documenting inspections, maintenance, and repair information, to include work performed, materials used, and hours worked on each assigned work order.
•Able to safely climb extension and step ladders.
•Work overtime and weekends when required.
•Work remotely with the possibility of overnight stays.
•Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 75 pounds.
•Forklift experience or ability to learn required.
•Elevated work platform experience or ability to learn.
•Excellent communication and writing skills required.
•Work inside and outside.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
