Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, inspections, and modifications to industrial overhead cranes, jib and gantry cranes, and elevators. Rig, move, and erect a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, parts, and assemblies. Change & inspect crane & elevator cables, hooks, running ropes, slings, and lifting devices. Inspect all crane and elevator equipment as required. Perform and log PM’s and work order completions in mobile devices in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Job Description
AAS/AOS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline OR Military Advanced Courses OR Journeyman credentials in an applicable field from a recognized apprenticeship program.
Ability and willingness to work weekends as needed or for after hour call-ins
Minimum 3 years work experience in a heavy manufacturing environment in a technical maintenance repairman role.
Ability to apply knowledge of components, devices, and equipment used in industrial crane and elevator applications and all related mechanic and electrical requirements
The base pay range for this position is $31.33 to $35.96 per hour with a $5.28 per hour transition adder. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases.
