Control Systems Technician Job Description Key Responsibilities: • Service calls o Periodic instrument calibration o Temperature uniformity surveys o System accuracy tests o Emergency repairs and replacements o Manage service equipment ▪ Ensure test equipment is calibrated ▪ Ensure equipment is in good working order o Alert upper management to any issues o Keep up with current versions of common specifications used in service o Train and mentor service technicians on equipment and procedures as necessary o Provide assistance to service technicians o Champion high team standards • Project support o Installation and startup of equipment including electrical panels, gas trains and associated controls o Training of customers on new equipment o Engineering and service support o Control panel testing • Sales support o Estimate time needed to complete jobs o Assist sales team in driving service account growth o Work with sales to quote service calls o Help sales demonstrate products to customers • General o Ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations o Ensure all work is done in a safe manner o Ensure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reported o Fill in job tickets and log completion of work within the project/service software application o Attend company meetings as required o Ensure continual training through available channels o Manage time effectively through training, maintenance, etc. when schedule is ope
