Responsibilities

As a control room operator, you will operate, monitor, and control plant electric generating units and associated systems to insure safe, efficient, and continuous production of electricity under the direction and review of the plant manager, operations supervisors, and in conjunction with the system dispatcher.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50 pounds overhead. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to operate computer control schemes and drive vehicles. Some travel may be required.
