Control Room Operator

Control Room Operator Requirements

1- High School Diploma or equivalent required

2- Oil and Gas Production experience preferred

3- Must maintain very strong computer skills

4- Time management - Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at one time is required

5- Communication - Must possess excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

6- Ability to work 13-hr shifts rotating between day and night

7- Capable of making quick decisions under pressure

8- Must works well in a team format

Control Room Operator Tasks

1- Follow all company SOP’s, safety policies and procedures

2- Monitor production facilities and well site locations through SCADA system

3- Monitor water takeaway pipelines and water pit levels

4- Monitor gas compression units and alert appropriate field personnel to decrease downtime

5- Manage incoming alarms and contact appropriate field personnel

6- Address all incoming phone calls

7- Complete required reports needed by team management

8- Work with SCADA team to improve processes

9- Interact and share ideas with all groups/teams

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
