Job Summary
The
Contracts Administrator
role is responsible for managing, reviewing, and overseeing contracts made with customers, vendors, and strategic partners. This role ensures that all contracts are accurate, legally compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The Administrator helps minimize risk while fostering strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders. The Contract Administrator plays a key role in mitigating risks and maintaining positive business relationships.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
•Initiate and manage purchase orders with designated vendors.
•Presents cost proposals and bids with pricing information to the leadership team.
•Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
•Track and manage contract performance, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met.
•Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal regulations, and applicable laws.
•Assist in resolving any disputes or compliance issues related to contracts with attorneys, commercial risk management, and workers' compensation.
•Ability to review and comprehend construction bid packages, general and supplemental conditions, and key contract documents for the bid and the leadership team.
•Coordinate and lead bid project teams and discussions.
•Implement contract and compliance processes to ensure EGS is compliant with all RFI and RFP submittals.
•Understand relationships, roles, and responsibilities of the bid project related to subcontractors and contractors.
•Act as the primary liaison between EGS and the client’s Construction Manager and Officer.
•Manages contract rate entry into bookkeeping software for crews, employees, and storm crews
•Performs other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
•Work is primarily office-based with standard use of computers and office equipment.
•May require occasional travel as required
•May require occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs.) and extended periods of sitting or computer use.
•Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers
•Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, or viewing a computer screen.
Education and Experience
Required
•High School Diploma or equivalent is required
•3–5 years of contract administration experience
•Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or Engineering, or a related field preferred.
•At least three to five years of Contract Management Administration experience preferred.
•CPCCM or CCCM certification
•Familiarity with construction contracts and public procurement processes
•Experience with RFI/RFP response processes
