Hiring Salary Range: $26.59 - $37.21/hour Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level. The impact you'll make in this role:

The Contract Administrator I is responsible for supporting the development, management, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. This entry-level position focuses on managing procurement agreements, service contracts, and other formal business arrangements essential to the operations of Dairyland Power Cooperative. The Contract Administrator I collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure contractual obligations are met while providing exceptional support to internal stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Serve as a liaison between Dairyland Power Cooperative and external parties to address routine contract issues. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate contract execution and resolve contract-related inquiries.
Draft, review, and edit contracts and related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Maintain contract databases and ensure all records are organized, updated, and accessible.
Work with Legal resources to mitigate risk by analyzing procurement requirements relating to bids, special provisions, pricing, internal approvals, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Assist in tracking deadlines, deliverables, and milestones outlined in contracts.
Build and maintain relationships with critical/key internal stakeholders.
Gather all required information to build into a Request for Proposal (RFP) template to create an RFP by working with all critical/key stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and complete contractual records and electronic contract system database.
Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, customer requirements, and sound business judgment.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures related to contract management processes.
Participate in training and development opportunities to expand knowledge of contract administration and industry standards.
Learn the ERP computer software to effectively and efficiently develop and execute purchase orders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Supply Chain or similar discipline. Minimum of (1) year of relevant and demonstrated work experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills:

Ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers.
Assimilate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for making sound business recommendations and decisions
Highly knowledgeable in supply chain concepts and trends.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external
Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects.
