The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.
The Contract Manager supports the Procurement Department in the execution and administration of all contract-related activities associated with the SR400 Express Lanes project. This includes managing the contractual aspects of subcontracts, material supply agreements, rental contracts, and purchase orders.
Key responsibilities include the review and negotiation of vendor terms and conditions, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations, and the effective mitigation of associated risks throughout the duration of the project.

- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts including subcontracts, material contracts, service and rental agreements, and purchase orders in line with project timelines and procurement strategies.
- Monitor contract execution to ensure compliance with commercial terms, legal obligations, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate closely with procurement and project teams to ensure proper flow-down of prime contract terms to vendors and subcontractors.
- Identify contractual risks and opportunities early in the procurement and execution phases.
- Ensure contracts comply with all relevant laws, standards, and GDOT requirements.
- Manage and document contract changes, variation orders, and claims.
- Drafting and issuing contractual correspondence in support of the Construction Department.
- Support in dispute resolution and claims negotiation, ensuring timely escalation when required.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Support close-out processes including lessons learned, contract performance reviews, and supplier evaluation.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure enforceability of contract terms and mitigate legal risks.
- Liaise with local and state authorities (when required) regarding permits, NOCs, or legal documentation tied to vendor or site activity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or a BSc in Engineering with additional Contract qualifications and/or certifications; advanced degree (LLM or MBA) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7–10 years in contract management working for a first-tier/main Contractor in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Direct experience with transportation infrastructure projects and/or public-private partnerships (P3) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, risk allocation, and contracting standards for large and complex construction and transportation projects.
- Familiarity with state-level procurement regulations and GDOT requirements a plus.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), document management systems, and procurement/contract management software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- High proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
