Senior Manager of Contract, Bid, and Proposal Managementto join our newly formed Americas regional team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of our most critical commercial pursuits—developing winning strategies, crafting compelling proposals, and negotiating high-impact contracts that enable the energy transition. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, legal, and finance to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of utilities, developers, and governments.

- How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the development of complex, multi-million-dollar HVDC proposals and bids.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and finance to shape commercial strategies.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into winning bid solutions.
- Negotiate contract terms that align with business goals and risk profiles.
- Drive continuous improvement in bid processes and tools.
- Support regional sales teams with pricing, scope, and delivery strategies.
- Manage contract amendments and renegotiations as project scopes evolve.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on commercial matters.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in contract management, proposals, or commercial operations.- Proven track record in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with large-scale EPC or turnkey projects.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
