As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, someone who can work well independently, and can communicate effectively with teams.
Key Responsibilities
•Analyze and interpret technical drawings and other documentation to prepare and manage schedules
•understand contract requirements, construction standards, and OSHA safety regulations
•Understand, prepare, and maintain all project-related documentation
•Efficiently solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables including unexpected delays
•Subcontract/ Purchase order negotiations and management to ensure complete scopes are obtained within the proposed budgets
•manage overall project administration including budgets, submittals, RFQ’s, and schedules
•Manage subcontractor and scheduling coordination, conflict resolution, project documentation, and ensuring project safety and quality
•Manage project budgets from initial estimating through project completion identifying forecasted costs to complete, and using critical thinking to manage budget constraints
•Effectively communicate project updates, timeline changes, impacts to the budget, etc.
Minimum requirements:
•5-10 years of proven experience as a construction project manager
•in-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
•experience managing multiple projects simultaneously over $4M
•effective and professional oral and written communication
•ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
•great organizational and time management skills to handle multiple issues with pressing deadlines while maintaining complete attention to detail
•Must be willing to travel to job sites, Houston office, etc.
•Must pass a background check - company vehicle will be provided
