As a Construction Project Engineer you will play a vital role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This position is integral to our mission of delivering high-quality construction services while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site.
Must possess excellent communication and team building skills and the ability to work independently, collaboratively, with full transparency, as required by the client/project
Support and coordinate construction work, ensuring process conformance with contract documents and applicable standards
Work includes site office management, coordination and support of site meetings, processing and confirming site staff input to site management paperwork, managing the processing of requests for payments and/or additional compensation, coordination with facility operations and other stakeholders, and supporting the safety and quality of the work
MS Excel – including use if Tables, pivot tables and graphics
MS Access (For Ad hoc reporting, data structures)
Familiarity with other Database Data sources, Data Structures
· 5+ years of relevant Project Engineer experience
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Project Management, Cost Management, or other relevant construction or engineering field of study
· Project management skills, including skill to manage complex projects
· Possess a basic ability to read and construe legal documents including statues, orders, regulations, codes and contracts
· Strong verbal, written and numeracy skills in a client facing capacity including high level political acumen
· A demonstrated commitment to continuous focused learning and skill development, including emerging technologies and tools
· Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality
