Job Title: Project Engineer
Primary Function: Provides support to Project Management, Estimating and Field Supervisory Staff, with responsibility for supporting all aspects of construction from pre-construction through post-construction.
Typical Duties:
•Work closely with assigned project teams
•Communicate with the Owner, Architect/Engineer, Contractors and Suppliers.
•Maintain project progress schedule.
•Assist with monitoring and controlling project job costs.
•Assist with coordinating the work of Contractors and expedite material deliveries.
•Support the preparation of trade contract, subcontract and purchase order agreements.
•Check and process shop drawings and product data submittals.
•Implement the quality assurance program and sustainable construction procedures as directed.
•Implement and enforce Miller-Davis Company’s Safety Program and safety regulations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
•College Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related experience.
•Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
•Interest and potential to advance to Project Manager or Project Superintendent Position.
