•Customer service skills are needed as you will be working with various clients and contractors throughout the day.
While M-F from 7a-5p are the most common hours on-site, schedule flexibility is a must* as there are times that contractors need help onsite in the early weekday mornings or a Saturday (which will be scheduled on a rotating basis).
Attendance and punctuality are essential (we have clients counting on you!).*
Able to pass a drug screen and have a current driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.*

In the role of Construction Materials Testing Technician you will:
•Observe and document field activities.
•Perform sampling and testing in the field for various materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, and asphalt.
•Learn and follow protocol for testing standards and methods.
•Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
•Vibration monitoring and other field duties as assigned.
•Communicate effectively with client and project teams.
•Follow all company safety and OSHA procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
•Construction industry experience or other outdoor physical environment.
•The ability to read construction plans and specifications, or learn to.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and work well with clients and fellow employees.
•Good attendance and punctuality.
•Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
•A consistently positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
•Ability to work a flexible schedule to service clients. Some projects require early morning, overnight, and Saturday availability, as needed.
•Proven ability to strictly adhere to safety procedures.
•Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds and ability to work and maneuver equipment on uneven ground and around construction sites.
•Physically able to work and walk in outdoor/construction site environments with uneven terrain and variable outdoor conditions including heat, cold, noise, and moisture.
•Ability to drive a company truck with a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
•Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. The background check results must adhere to federal requirements for military base access.
Salary: Hourly pay rate will be based on related experience.
