Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in construction projects. This position involves working in the field on construction sites to conduct quality inspections, data collection, and analysis of materials.
Responsibilities
•Conduct quality inspections on various construction materials, including soils. aggregates, asphalt, and concrete forming.
•Record and analyze data collected from tests and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
•Participate in construction site inspections to monitor material usage and adherence to specifications.
Requirements
•Proven experience in quality control or inspection within the construction industry is preferred.
•Familiarity with materials testing and concrete forming processes is a plus.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments, including laboratories and construction sites.
•Proficient in using testing equipment and tools related to material inspection.
•Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Schedule
The Field Technician position is an 8-hour shift Monday to Friday, with occasional half shifts on Saturday. Your schedule will be posted the day before, and you will be provided a company truck to head to construction sites and conduct testing / inspections.
