The Construction Manager will be in the field, working onsite with our construction management and inspection teams. This role is vital in the planning, coordination and execution of natural gas pipeline projects, and regards safety as the highest priority!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads field inspection activities as the designated Chief Inspector on assigned projects
- Performs welding inspections as a Williams-qualified Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with standards
- Supports fabrication and welding quality assurance at the Rock Springs fabrication shop
- Coordinates with project teams to verify construction quality and adherence to safety protocols
- Travels to project sites and remains on location for extended durations as needed for project completion
- Assists in front end construction planning, estimate development and analysis and contract management
- Assists with QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with our business partners
- Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
- Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
- Develops and runs construction progress reporting
- Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
- Assists in construction closeout
- Provides onsite leadership to our inspection team
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High School Diploma/GED and CDT (CSI) Certification
- Preferred: Welding Certification or Experience in Shop or Field Fabrication
Ability to:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
- Demonstrates expertise in API 1104 welding processes and inspection requirements
- Holds or obtains Williams welding inspector certification
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
, Serves as a critical team member in the planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline facility and other construction projects. Is the company field representative, and is the single point of contact for all construction-related activities, including administration of work by others. Job duties include assisting in front-end planning, construction estimate development and analysis, input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection, contract management, review and acceptance of contractor's Inspection Testing Plan(ITP), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management, and liaison activities with Operations, Engineering and Commissioning Team. Leads the on-site construction team (typically 3 to 7 reports). Performs and documents results of audit processes as required. Lead construction closeout, including preparation of data books, project completion reports and lesson learned. Typically assigned to projects or programs up to $50 million.
