Construction Foreman/woman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on quality control, budgeting, and effective team supervision. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics to ensure project specifications are met.

Duties

- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure adherence to project timelines and safety regulations.

- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting.

- Review blueprints, schematics, and project plans to understand the scope of work and ensure proper execution.

- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Prepare construction estimates and budgets, monitoring expenses to keep the project within financial constraints.

- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in construction techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.

- Strong supervisory experience with a proven track record in managing teams effectively.

- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.

- Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.

- Ability to manage budgets efficiently while ensuring high-quality outcomes on projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
