Aloha 'Aina Landscaping, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Foreman to lead our landscaping and hardscaping projects. The Construction Foreman will oversee on-site operations, manage a team of skilled laborers, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in landscaping and construction, and a commitment to our core values of honesty, integrity, and exceptional client communication.
Key Responsibilities
•Project Supervision: Oversee all aspects of landscaping and hardscaping projects, including lawn installation, irrigation systems, stone wall construction, driveways, and drainage systems, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
•Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a crew of laborers, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
•Quality Control: Ensure all work meets Aloha 'Aina Landscaping’s high standards for structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and functionality, using only the best materials.
•Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
•Site Management: Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractor schedules to keep projects on track and within budget. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
•Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to project execution, such as material shortages, weather delays, or unforeseen site conditions, in a timely manner.
•Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local regulations, permitting requirements, and safety standards.
•Reporting: Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to the management team, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
Qualifications
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in landscape construction techniques, including hydroseeding, sodding, irrigation installation, masonry (e.g., coral, bluestone, moss rock walls), and drainage systems.
•Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
•Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license required. Hawaii contractor’s license (C-27 or similar) or relevant certifications (e.g., irrigation or masonry) preferred.
•Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with permitted wall construction and knowledge of local building codes in Honolulu.
