Assistant Project Manager (3-Month Project Contract)

DACK Consulting, a reputable and growing Construction Consulting/Management firm, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
•Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports.
•Assist in obtaining and reviewing approvals for shop drawings, product data, and samples, ensuring effective communication across the project team.
•Support the preparation of estimates for changes in work and review Change Order requests from subcontractors.
•Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
•Manage contract documents, electronic records, and project logs, ensuring updates and maintenance are current.
•Facilitate the distribution of construction-related information to appropriate stakeholders.
•Coordinate with Engineering to ensure timely release of materials and equipment for fabrication or manufacture.
•Assist in preparing final project records, including close-out documents and Operations/Maintenance Manuals.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited program.
•Prior experience in building construction or engineering is preferred.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
•Proactive and eager to learn, demonstrating initiative in project execution.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Sound knowledge of construction practices, processes, and techniques.
Additional Information:
This is a 3-month project contract position with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
