Summary:
This seat provides administrative and clerical support to the construction team for the daily activities on the project including administration and all associated construction compliances, documents, and documentation; job site meeting and weekly job status documentation; and supports various activities including project start-up through project close-out.
- Assist the project management team in coordinating walk throughs, zoom and owner meetings so that APM’s and PM’s are able to focus on budget, scheduling and relationships.
- Communication daily with Project Management staff, subcontractors, vendors, clients in an effective, clear and concise manner.
- Monitors and is proactive in follow up on long lead items and material tracking logs and all other duties as assigned.
- Compile, complete and distribute Owner and Maintenance manuals.
- Attends walk project walk throughs as necessary.
- 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or business preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task multiple projects and people.
- Must be highly organized and able to manage data while under time pressure.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must possess strong language and communication skills (written and oral).
- Willingness and ability to learn new software programs.
- Honest, trustworthy, accurate, self-motivated and dedicated.
- Customer service oriented with ability to work with people of various backgrounds and styles.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a proven track record of accountability, professionalism and organization.
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of construction based software
This position requires team collaboration and presence at in-person meetings and is best suited to a traditional work schedule. Occasional remote work is acceptable.
- Occasional travel (10-15%) to meetings and events, typically within a 150-mile radius of the office.
- Occasional travel to various job site locations as needed for photography or milestone events.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to see well (naturally or with correction).
