Conductor Machine Operator

JOB TITLE: MACHINE OPERATOR I

POSITION SUMMARY: To manufacture the highest quality wire to meet the customer specifications by following work order instructions, machine set-up methodology, established processes, and company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Performing initial set-up according to standard operating procedures. + Operating equipment; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls. + Loading and unloading product from machines. + Completing production to established specifications. + Meeting production standards and deadlines. + Conducting initial quality check before receiving approval from Quality Assurance, + Performing in-process inspection, and, when authorized, performing final inspection. + Detecting and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor. + Requires some supervision. + Ability to set up machine according to SOP. + Ability to operate machine according to SOP. + Ability to use measurement tools in process. + Ability to use Axis system for product entry. + Demonstrates teamwork. + Ability to complete general machine maintenance checklist.
