The concrete laborer position is responsible for assisting in the construction of transmission and substation foundation construction projects, and other general construction projects. This job consists of assisting in the process of drilling, setting, pouring, and finishing foundations as required by the project. There may also be other tasks that a concrete laborer will be asked to complete by the site supervisor as needed. This position requires travel and hands-on knowledge of setting up, pouring, and finishing concrete.
· Design, build, and set-up forms as required
· Using rebar to reinforce the concrete – set and tie per plans
· Applying waterproofing and sealant as required to protect the concrete work
· Maintain a safety culture through following all policies and procedures to achieve a goal of zero lost time and zero accidents annually
· Set, form & pour concrete based on plans and specifications
· Troubleshoot issues that arise in the field with the foreman/supervisor
· Ability to stay on task and communicate effectively
· Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands
· Ability to kneel, bend and lift heavy materials
· Ability to measure accurately and read architectural plans and specifications
· Follow instructions set forth by the Supervisor/Foreman

· Valid form of identification required per I-9 requirements
· 1+ years of experience pouring and finishing concrete
· Pay $18-$24 per hour – discussed during interview process & determined based on experience
