CONCRETE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION EMPLOYEE

Compensation: $25 to $32 per hour DOE

40-50 hours a week; Monday through Friday

The Farmers Reservoir and Irrigation Company (FRICO) is a mutual ditch company incorporated in 1902. FRICO's business office is in Brighton, Colorado. The FRICO system consists of four major and several smaller reservoirs and approximately 400 miles of canals extending from the Front Range foothills to east of Greeley, Colorado. FRICO provides the major storage for the municipal needs of 300,000 citizens of four municipalities in the northwest Denver area and for agricultural use.

FRICO is seeking an experienced concrete fabricator and installation employee to construct, erect, install and repair and finish concrete structures and surfaces within our water system.

Key Responsibilities:

· Fabricate concrete components, including molds, forms, and precast elements, according to project specifications.

· Install concrete structures, such as foundations, slabs, walls, and water measurement devices, ensuring proper alignment and finishing.

· Mix, pour, and finish concrete using tools and equipment to achieve desired textures and surfaces.

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.

· Perform quality control checks to ensure durability and compliance with industry standards.

· Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and expectations.

· *Perform other duties, as assigned by the maintenance division, which may include occasional manual labor in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:

· Two years of experience in concrete fabrication, pouring, or installation preferred.

· Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, finishing techniques, and construction safety practices.

· Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

· Physical stamina to lift 80 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform labor-intensive tasks.

· Valid driver’s license: CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
